Mighway provides a safe and easy way to earn some extra income at times when your vehicle would otherwise be unused and gathering dust! It is a fantastic way to offset the cost of ownership.

  • Availability calendar. Block out any future dates so your vehicle is available when you want to use it.

*If you choose to list your vehicle under our Mighway Managed option, we will help you to set a price for your vehicle, handle basic maintenance and cleaning to get your vehicle ready to rent, take care of the handover and pickup process with the guest, and ensure your vehicle is in good shape when you pick it up. 

Basic maintenance includes regular mechanical checks, conducting visual inspections for safety/pre-hire checks, and helping to facilitate repairs and maintenance work which will be paid for from your rental income. The Guest is charged for cleaning costs. We will also store managed vehicles at one of our convenient locations around New Zealand.

  • Full Insurance – your van is fully covered by Mighway’s comprehensive insurance from pick-up until drop-off.
  • Our 24/7 nationwide roadside assistance covers everything from breakdowns to discharged batteries while the van is on hire.
  • We screen and check the identity of all potential guests so you can be sure the person hiring the van can be trusted.


  • Mighway release weekly payments, meaning bookings will be paid out no longer than 4 - 8 working days from drop off.
  • Average payment to owners has been $1000 per month.
  • Average hire length has been between 8-10 days (over peak season).
