We understand that there is plenty of uncertainty around COVID-19 and how this may impact your travel plans. To support you, and travellers alike, we have introduced temporary Covid-19 policies. We have also answered some questions that you may have around travelling with us.  

I need to cancel my trip. What are my options? 
If you are unable to travel due to Covid-19 restrictions, you may be eligible for no changes fees or free cancellation. This policy only applies to bookings that were confirmed after 01 October 2020 and is only valid for booking due to travel prior to 31 March 2021. 

If you would still like to travel with us, we have introduced a free of charge date change. Please note that this is subject to vehicle availability, owner approval and you will need to pay any difference in the daily rental rate. Bookings are non-transferable, and normal cancellation fees will apply should you cancel your booking during Alert Level 1 and 2.

I am travelling from overseas, what do I do? 
At this moment, all overseas travel from New Zealand is restricted. New Zealand Citizens, Permanent Residents and Residents are able to enter New Zealand. 

Border control remains in place for those that are entering the country and health screening is in place on arrival. If you are travelling from overseas, you are required to isolate in managed quarantine for 14-days.

We understand the frustrations and concerns around pre-booked travel, especially if you are travelling from overseas. Our team support the Government's decision to restrict international travel, in order to protect the New Zealand community. I am looking at hiring a campervan in New Zealand, but I am uncertain about how Covid-19 may impact my travel. 
It is great to see so many New Zealanders travelling domestically, however, we do understand that there are reservations around making a booking or travel in general. To help ease these concerns, Mighway has introduced a temporary Covid-19 cancellation policy. 

Before you travel, we ask that you please consider our normal cancellation policies, as bookings prior to 01 October 2020 may fall under our normal cancellation policy. 


I booked my trip recently and can't decide if I should still go.
